I just discovered something amazing! I am in love with these cupcake towers.

The Cupcake Tower is a website that makes these awesome custom towers. You can pick how many tiers you want and the layers are reversible so you can hold cake pops OR cupcakes!! Amazing.

I want one! :)

Writing your life story...

As most of you know by now, I am preparing to go to Albania this summer to help at an English Camp for college students. One of the "assignments" we received (in order to prep for our trip) was to write out our "Life Story."

Where to begin... it's interesting thinking about your life. Where you've been, what's happened, who you've known, the experiences you've had. It's also interesting to see what experiences stand out the most to you. We're splitting them into Positive Experiences & Relationships and Negative Experiences& Relationships. It's good to think about, because these experiences really do shape who you are and who you're becoming.

Some of the questions they gave us to get the ball rolling include:

• Who are the most memorable people from your past?
• What have been the most difficult or painful experiences in your life?
• What did you think about God in various chapters of your life?
• What dreams have you had over your life?

I'm still working on it. But just thought I'd share so you can think about your own life story :) I'd love to hear some of your stories, too!

Baking Day #1: Success :)

I just finished my first "Baking Day"! I made red velvet cake pops!

For those of you who haven't heard, I'm starting a Baking Day where I will pick a baked good and people can order the cake pops, cupcakes, bars, etc. by the dozen. I did this first one to just experiment and see if anyone would order anything... and I sold all 4 dozen of my pops. Woot.

What shall I make next? Lemon bars, different kinds of cake pops... the possibilities are endless.

Suggestions please!

So many parties. So many pops to make!

Okay are you all sick of my cake pops posts? I'm just having too much fun trying different things!

We celebrated my mom's bday on Saturday night and my brother-in-law's bday on Sunday. My mom wanted to have movie night so I made movie popcorn box cake pops (chocolate inside).

And we threw Mike a surprise Pirate Party! I made lemon pirate pops for his bash.

These were especially fun, because I painted different faces on each of the pirates :)

Albania Bound!

So I don't have much time to blog this evening, but I just got home from my first Albania team meeting tonight and I'm super pumped! This July I have the amazing opportunity to travel to Albania to help with a week long English Camp. It will be made up of university age kids and we will be leading discussions in English and just spending time getting to know them.

I'm so excited about this opportunity and am praying for our hearts to be changed while we're over there.

Will you please be praying for our team as well?

Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful moms out there.

But especially to my amazing mother :) It's hard to put into words how much you do, because you have done so much for our family over the years. I am blessed beyond belief to have you as my support and encouragement. I respect you so much as a woman of God and someone that I can go to, to ask questions and know you will pray for me even when I don't ask. You have cared for our family in such a selfless way and we really appreciate it! Thank you for all of the hugs, the wonderful meals, the encouragement, for coming to my 307245849 concerts, and for pointing me to Jesus every step of the way :)
